Jeff Sylvester – Operations Specialist
Jeff Sylvester is an Operations Specialist for Charter Senior Living providing senior leadership & operations expertise.
He has served in the Senior Living Industry in various roles over the past 20 years. His expertise is in fostering team building and culture development and has been the cornerstone of his career.
His professional journey is marked by a comprehensive understanding of various facets of senior living, including Life Plan Communities/CCRCs, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living.
In addition, his regional and local leadership roles have provided direct multi-site operations, implement industry best practices, and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and quality within a community.
In sales and community development, Jeff has a proven track record of expanding existing communities and developing new ones, significantly increasing occupancy rates. His approach to team building and culture development emphasizes a positive work environment, open communication, collaboration, and professional growth opportunities, alongside recognition and celebration of team achievements.
Jeff’s career is a testament to his exceptional skills in leadership and operations within the senior living community, showcasing his ability to create thriving environments for both residents and staff.
Having been raised in Hawaii and Southern California Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children on, in, or near any large body of water. He and his wife’s bucket list includes sailing the great loop of the eastern US.
Chris Day – Executive Director
Chris Day has been in health care for over 30 years and specifically in the senior living industry since 2004. From her previous experience as an executive director and marketing director for a senior living community in upstate New York, she facilitated dementia empathy training that helped caregivers better understand their residents’ needs. Chris has a passion for serving the senior population and believes each resident should be treated like family. She practices listening carefully to uncover a person’s unique needs and finds ways to meet those needs while giving those she interacts with a sense of peace about their decisions. In her spare time, she loves to read and explore historic sites.
